Friends of Frances (FOF) is a 501c3 founded to garner awareness for rare genetic diseases and individuals with special needs. FOF was founded in honor of a brave and beautiful girl, Frances Brown who was born with Macrocephally-Capillary Malformation (M-CM), a multiple malformation syndrome causing abnormal head and body overgrowth and abnormalities of the skin, vascular system, brain and limbs. Her tenacity to overcome adversity with everyday life was an inspiration that resulted in a community of friends coming together to promote awareness of and provide assistance to children like Frances who live with rare diseases and special needs.
